As an Executive Pastry Chef you will take full responsibility for operating the pastry section of the kitchen while working closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef. You are also required to plan production and develop seasonal offerings.

Responsible to create high quality pastry dishes with the standard recipes and presentations in order to maintain quality standards and consistency of product. Also, assist in production and maintenance of par stocks of pastry and dessert with proper rotation of products and maintain highest cleanliness and hygiene standard in the pastry and bakery section.

Key Responsibilities:

Menu Creation: Design and develop a creative and seasonal pastry menu that showcases your unique style while reflecting current culinary trends.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of pastry cooks and assistants to deliver exceptional desserts and pastries.
Quality Control: Ensure all pastries, desserts, and baked goods meet our high standards for taste and presentation.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory, ordering, and storage of supplies to maintain efficiency
and reduce waste.
Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless service and menu cohesion.
Cost Management: Develop and manage the pastry department budget while striving to optimize food costs without sacrificing quality.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or bakery setting
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation
  • Exceptional creativity and a passion for dessert innovation
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
