Reporting to the Manager Revenue Management, the successful incumbent will execute the Revenue Management strategy of Fiji Airways and Fiji Link to maximize network revenue contribution on a portfolio of routes. This role determines and drives route objectives based on market behavior whilst maintaining operational integrity and through effective management of availability and booking policies; the onus is on you to maximize passenger revenue on every flight.

Monitor actual demand and modify demand to align its seat availability to maximize revenue to meet or exceed budget.

Liaise with sales regions to understand market needs and constraints.

Restrict lower yielding class availability (tactical, frequent flyers & staff) based on market demand assessment.

Monitor competitor availability/pricing against our own and initiate pricing actions or adjust inventory setup.

Execute peak period flight setup strategy to maximize revenue.

Dynamically manage availability to account for fluctuations in market demand.

Strategically implement overbooking policy based on historical analysis and current market position.

Identify and protect special events, holidays and key seasonal periods to maximize revenue.

Enhance materialization by monitoring group activity to avoid cancelations closer to departure.

Ensure regular and ad hoc report generation on a timely basis and contribute to departmental projects.

Educate stakeholders to understand RM practices and revenue maximization from RM perspective.

Identify, review and recommend pricing initiative improvements and equipment upgrades and downgrades.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics & Management or related discipline.

Basic knowledge of Amadeus and Revenue Management Systems would be an added advantage.

Competent with Microsoft applications and able to work with different systems.

Experience in a related analytical position is desired.

Must be a self-starter with good organization and problem- solving skills to deliver high quality results to timelines.

Able to influence and challenge key stakeholders on business processes and performance.

Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels within the organization.
