Do you see yourself as a Steward Attendant at InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa?

We’re looking for a dedicated Steward Attendant to set high & clean standards for workspace to table and beyond.

Your day to day

The Steward Attendant plays an integral role to support the Kitchen team and the wider hotel team, and your day to day will include:

Ensure OH&S standards and procedures are in place and staff receives the relevant training and refresher training to keep their knowledge up to date on hazards, operating procedures, use and maintenance of equipment and emergency response procedures.
Prepares kitchen equipment for use
Assists with checking and receiving goods
Store goods
Maintain storage areas
Clean and store equipment
Clean premises
Handle waste and linen
Maintain a hygienic kitchen
Clean the kitchen and equipment
Maintain personal hygiene
Attend to all briefings
Participate in training
Perform other related duties, as assigned.

What we need from you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience - you have worked in a similar role in a hotel property.
Strength – this role is a physical role where you will be on your feet.
Flexibility - Availability to work shifts across a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays.
Able to multi-tasks and ability to handle stressful situations.
Can do attitude – wanting to support your team members and roll up your sleeves.
Detail - a great eye for detail and wanting everything to be placed perfectly in its place.
