The Role
Pepper Advantage Hub (Fiji) is seeking for a highly skilled Automation Software Test Analyst to join our Team using a combination of technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to support quality assurance of internally developed mortgage servicing systems. As an Automation Software Test Analyst specializing in Mortgage Servicing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our internal mortgage servicing application stack through automation of manual tests, automated regression testing, and support of the systems upon which automated testing runs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of test plans, test cases and test scripts with automatability in mind.
- Utilize well founded software testing methodologies to perform effective test analysis to create automatable test cases.
- Use software development and continuous integration/continuous deployment processes to design, develop, automate, and support execution of manual test scripts using a variety of solutions.
- Take advantage of your SQL, programming, and automation experience to implement automation across distributed and varying platforms.
- Work with Test Analysists, Developers, Business Analysts to investigate and analyse software defects in the system.
- Design, develop and implement automation frameworks required for automation test scripts to be reliably and regularly executed in a distributed system.
- Resolve automation framework issues and help overcome blocking issues with automated test execution and their underlying systems.
Candidate needs to be flexible in terms of working hours (Ideally from 8 pm to 4.30 am FJT)
Skills and experience required:
- A solid understanding of formal testing approaches, sought advantageously with an internationally recognised certification recommended by ISTQB/ASTQB.
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Transact-SQL or similar database language.
- Familiarity of automating cross-application and distributed systems using a variety of solutions.
- Experience implementing automation using a wide variety of automation tools, including web, mobile and desktop applications, APIs, SDKs, and interactions with database systems.
- Coding experience in one or more modern programming, scripting, or visual languages.
- Problem solving skills to troubleshoot and debug automation, automated scripts, as well as the underlying system under test.
- Knowledge of mortgage servicing or similar financial experience is desirable.
