Jack's of Fiji invites applications from suitably qualified personnel for the position of Graphic artist for its PNG & Timor-Leste operations to be based at our Jack's of Fiji Head Office in Nadi. The successful applicant will report to the Procurement Manager.
GRAPHIC ARTIST
(Salary Range: $13,000-$25,000)
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the Procurement, Marketing and Retail Teams to create required graphic artworks;
- Ensure proper naming conventions for processed images in the correct format as required;
- Image editing for social media and marketing channels;
- Assist in designing promotional artwork for social media and display advertising etc;
- Produce instore collaterals;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current design trends & brand guidelines;
- Assist other Artist in creating web-ready icons & graphics;
- Conceptualize and develop new creative concepts and;
- Assist the marketing team with admin work as when required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years employed as a Graphic Artist;
- A certificate or diploma in Graphic Designing would be an advantage;
- Exceptional skills using Adobe Creative Suite Illustrator, Photoshop, and other media editing software would be an advantage;
- Has the ability to learn new software, if needed, to accomplish projects;
- Applicants need to possess a strong understanding of digital formats and a real passion for creating shareable content to strengthen the Jack's Brand;
- Strong understanding of all digital & print file types, working documents and file sizing: Familiarity with social media platforms;
- Basic photography skills and understanding:
- Possess a willingness to learn and 'can do' approach;
- Ability to be self-managed, and able to work at a high pace environment;
- Group-2 drivers license would be an added advantage; and
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
