We are seeking a self-motivated, energetic and dynamic individual looking for a long-term career growth opportunity to join our Finance Team in the following position. This role will be reporting to Group Finance Manager.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and reports within agreed timeliness of the corporate accounts;
- Detailed review & oversight over key general ledger balances inventory, sales, cost of sales, fixed assets & payroll;
- Preparation of company budgets, forecasts and performing various forms of financial analysis;
- Managing the processes for financial forecasting, budgeting and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting for corporate companies;
- Sufficient knowledge of property & equity accounting.
- Work with various company accountants/ finance managers in relation to key finance processes;
- Review and manage all risk and develop contingency plans to mitigate the impact of all business and operational risk;
- Assisting in operational matters as and when required;
- Oversee and ensure the company is compliant with statutory returns and payments deadlines;
- Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders; •Ensure effective and efficient control processes to minimize risk;
- Assist in special projects as directed by the executive management team
Qualifications and Experience:
- Applicant must possess a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Financial Management and at least 3 years experience in senior finance role;
- Experience in Retail Viva, SAP. Xero and Linksoft will be an added advantage;
- Strong management skills and ability to lead by example
- Self-Starter who can work on their own initiative while meeting challenging deadlines;
- Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work under pressure, ensuring compliance with deadlines, establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with all staff.
